fa سیمای مسجد جامع عتیق شیراز در روزگار قاجاریه Atiq Jameh Mosque of Shiraz during the Qajar Era تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research مسجد جامع عتیق شیراز، که در هسته کهن شهر واقع شده، هنگام فرمانروایی عمرولیث صفاری در سده سوم هجری بنیان یافت. این بنا در گذر زمان دچار تحولات و دگرگونی‌هایی از قبیل توسعه، خرابی، تعمیر و تغییر شده، که همه آن‌ها به‌خوبی روشن نیست. در سده پنجم هجری، مسجد وسعت داشت و در ردیف مساجد جامع مشهور جهان اسلام معتبر بود. در سده هشتم هجری، هنگامی که خدای‌خانه (بیت‌المصاحف) با معماری خاصی در میان صحن ساخته می‌شد، مسجد گنجایش هزار نفر نمازگزار داشت. در دوره صفویه، با برپایی ایوان‌ها و دیگر اندام‌ها، مسجد عتیق به کامل‌ترین ساختار فضایی رسید و بر آرایه‌های آن افزوده شد. در کنار تحولات سیاسی و آبادانی و توسعه شهری، زمین‌لرزه‌های مهیبی در شیراز روی داد که موجب خرابی بسیاری از بناها و زیرساخت‌های شهر، به‌ویژه در دوره قاجاریه، شد. مسجد جامع عتیق از این بلای طبیعی بی‌نصیب نبوده است. مسجد، با رسیدن به دوره قاجاریه، حامل بسیاری از داده‌ها و شواهد تاریخی بود. تاریخ تحولات مسجد در دوره قاجاریه در هاله‌ای از ابهام قرار دارد و اندک اشاراتی صریح می‌توان یافت. جز اشاراتی پراکنده و کم‌شمار، پژوهش مستقلی در این ‌باره صورت نگرفته است. در این پژوهش، ضمن شرح وضع عمومی مسجد در زمان قاجاریه، هدف این است که اسناد و شواهد اقدامات ساختمانی صورت‌گرفته در مسجد پی‌جویی و اهداف آن روشن شود تا بتوان روایتی از حیات این بنا در مقطع تاریخی یادشده به‌دست داد. پرسش مقاله این است که سیمای دوره قاجاری مسجد عتیق قاجار در سایه تحولات ساختمانی چگونه بوده است. کار تعمیرات و نوسازی‌های حدود یک‌سده اخیر در مسجد چنان گسترده و عمیق بوده که کار ردیابی این شواهد را با دشواری روبه‌رو می‌سازد. مطابق اسناد تصویری به‌جامانده و توصیف‌هایی که سیاحان خارجی و دیدارکنندگان ایرانی از این بنای کهن به‌دست داده‌اند، وضع مسجد در این روزگار تا حدودی قابل درک می‌شود. در یک تصویر کلی، مسجد عتیق، با وجود ارزش‌های تاریخی و صنعتی (هنری) و اعتقادی، به‌سبب وقوع زمین‌لرزه‌های مداوم و رسیدگی نکردن اساسی و گسترده، اوضاع مناسبی نداشت و در یک تلاطم حیاتی به‌سر می‌بُرد. با وجود ویرانی گسترده، تعمیرات و گاه نوسازی‌هایی چند به‌دست کسانی چون ابراهیم‌خان کلانتر شیرازی در مسجد عتیق صورت می‌گرفت. <div style="text-align: justify;">Located at the old central part of Shiraz, the Jameh Mosque of the city was built under the reign of Amr-e Laith Saffari in the 3rd AH/ AD 9th century. The mosque has undergone many changes such as expansion, destruction, restoration and transformation in the course of time. The changes made to the building could not be easily distinguished. The place was as large as other famous mosques of the Islamic world in the 5th AH/ 11th AD century. In the 8th AH/ 14th AD century and at the same time with the construction of Khodāy-khāneh or Dār al-Moshaf section, it could accommodate about 1000 prayers. As iwans and other architectural organs were erected during the Safavid period, the mosque transformed into its most accomplished spatial phase, and its ornamentation increased. Besides political changes and urban development, huge earthquakes happened in Shiraz, particularly during the Qajar era, which resulted in the demolition of many buildings. The Jameh Mosque of Shiraz was no exception in these disasters. With the rise of Qajars, the mosque already bore many historical facts. Thus far, the history of the place during this period is by no means clear. Except for some few dispersed data and hints, no comprehensive study has yet been carried out on this issue. Therefore, the present essay aims to offer a coherent narrative of the mosque during the Qajar era. The objective of the research is to review documents relating to building projects done in the mosque and to give a clear view of the building in the mentioned historical epoch. Restorations and renovations made during the recent century have been so extensive that it would be difficult to search for tangible evidence; however, pictorial documents and travelers’ accounts of the place may give some insights into its former appearance and structure.
